Chyrp 2.1 Final Released

It's here! After four months of work with lots of stoppages in the way to here, I am proud to finally announce today the availability of Chyrp version 2.1 final.

As we have previously stated, this release consists of mainly bugfixes over Chyrp 2.0, slight theme and core modifications, but all this is exciting since it makes Chyrp 2.1 a very stable and secure release. On respect to changes from previously released Release Candidate, there was only one fix and that's all there is to it. On that regard I will provide the changed file as a separate download, for you who don't like to replace your whole Chyrp install.

Some may ask, 2.1 is out but what will happen next. Now I can't hold my self from saying this, but I strongly believe and I'm very confident there is a pretty clear path that Chyrp is going to follow in the future. Besides continuing to add new features and updates there are also some very exciting things that may follow up, and all looks very bright from this point of view. Of course none of this can be made to happen unless we continue to have your strong support as that motivates Chyrp to grow and become better. I must remind you that doors to helping Chyrp are always open and there are many ways your contribution can play a big role.

For those of you good souls who are not into programming and such, Chyrp could always use your generous donations, any amount is highly appreciated. But Chyrp still loves you even if you don't donate, and we love you too. Though you can help by extending our documentation, you can contribute with a Tweet, spread the word and let your fellow friends now about Chyrp.

For all you developers, this is the time to start getting your hands dirty. Develop a theme, a module or even dig deeper by contributing to the core, I'm always keen to accept promising improvements and features.

Conclusively, the future of blogging is ours, and we're about to brighten it even more. Here's to that!
