I’ve noticed that a lot of people (including me) have shown interest in having the Tumblr feathers have optional titles, so I modded them and am releasing them, here.
Only these needed to be modified. The others already had titles.
See the README for information on how to install these, and there’s also an important notice in there. As always, if I screwed anything up, let me know.
Hey ho (that doesn’t sound right. I just mean “Hi” i.e. “Hidee-Ho”
). I uploaded your modded feathers. Nice idea.
Only prob so far was that, once uploaded, there were no tabs in the admin section for writing a quote or an audio post. Gone (whoooosh!).
In searching around I discovered that there were no .yaml files in either of the directories for your modded quote and audio feathers. Once I went and retrieved the .yaml files from the old feathers and placed them into the directories for the modded ones the tabs returned.
So, another problem. It seems that a video post adopted the title of a text post i.e. I have a text post titled Choices, Choices, Choices. I have a video post that somehow adopted the same title. The funny thing is when I went to edit the title out of the video post there was nothing to edit out. The resulting video post has the title but it does not show in any edit window.

1) replace the files in the zip.
2) edit and save the posts
3) edit the posts again – You will have the title field
But will it get rid of the mystery duplicated title in the video post?
Danapalooza, that’s the important notice I was talking about in the readme file. Just edit and save the posts, and that’ll fix the problem.
As for the missing info.yaml files, there must have been a problem when you uploaded the feathers, because they’re here for me. I checked the zip archive and they’re there.
I see the notice. Should’ve read further. Thanks.
