Since I have knowledge in PHP yet, but I want to help in the development of Chyrp, it would be nice if I translated the modules into the Russian language and themes ported from WordPress, Drupal, Template CMS 2, Textpattern, etc. and create themes with FreeCSSTemplates.

absolutely- any new themes/ translations are welcome.Something that might be worthwhile to start with would be just testing backed up themes/modules and if they work submitting them- so people know which ones work and which dont.
